Return & Refund Policy

At Elena Gancheva Painting, each artwork is created and offered with great care. We want you to feel confident in your purchase. Please review the policy below regarding returns, refunds, cancellations, and damaged shipments.

1. Original Paintings

Due to the unique and one-of-a-kind nature of original artwork, all sales of original paintings are final.

We do not accept returns or offer refunds for original paintings except in cases where the artwork arrives damaged or the wrong item was sent.

2. Prints and Other Products

For prints or other non-original items, return requests may be accepted within 14 days of delivery, provided that:

  • the item is unused and in its original condition
  • it is returned in the original packaging
  • proof of purchase is provided

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.

Refunds are issued only after the returned item has been received and inspected.

3. Commissions and Custom Artwork

All commissioned or custom-made artwork is non-refundable.

Once work has started on a commissioned piece, deposits and payments already made cannot be refunded. This is because custom artwork is created specifically for the client and cannot be resold.

Before starting a commission, all important details, including size, colors, subject, timeline, and price, should be agreed upon in writing.

4. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at jigar4paint@gmail.com

Please include:

  • your order number
  • a description of the issue
  • clear photos of the item and packaging

If the claim is approved, we will offer an appropriate solution, which may include:

  • a replacement
  • a partial refund
  • a full refund

5. Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase, provided that the order has not yet been shipped and work has not begun on a commissioned piece.

After this period, cancellations may not be possible.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to damage, defect, or seller error.

7. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • original paintings
  • commissioned or custom artwork
  • digital downloads
  • sale or discounted items, unless damaged or defective
